Swimming4Safety
Swimming4Safety aims to ensure that children at Woodridge and in the wider community learn a life saving skill. The programme will teach basic swim and water-safe techniques to ensure that children are safe near water.

Objectives:
•Every Woodridge pupil to be able to swim at least 50m (two lengths) by the time they matriculate.
•100% of campus-based staff members’ children to be water safe.
•100% Pupils from selected neighbouring schools to be water safe.

The development of the Aquatic and Fitness Centre will help us achieve these objectives.

In January 2024 children from the local community were taught life saving swimming skills as part of the Swimming4Safety programme
